XY3 Find It by The Findables Company

I love this little gadget! Let me start by saying that I have some experience with a similar Bluetooth device, so the installing the APP on my Android phone was a breeze. It is a straight forward installation but be aware that you will be offer a (payable) upgrade and other things which I opted to skip. The first thing that it will require of the phone is for the Bluetooth to be turned on. The APP is easy to find at the Play Store by searching for XY Find It. It requires a login so an account needs to be created for it. The whole process took about 5 minutes (from download to set up).

To set up the XY3, log into the APP and follow the easy steps which require for you to press the button on the XY3 when asked by the APP in order to pair it. Super easy! The APP also asks to name the device that will be tracked. It will also give the option to upload a photo of the tracked item. Once the XY3 is paired to the phone it is dead on about its location. There is a setting for “near me” which works great because unlike my previous device, this one will ring whenever I walk away. Also, unlike the other locator, it can also track your phone by pressing the button on the XY3 gadget as it makes the phone ring.

This device would have been amazing when I used to carry keys around as I was always forgetting them. Now that I have no keys, I have place it inside my bag because I’m a bit distracted and cannot remember where I left the bag every time I get home. Now its easy to locate, it also allows me to locate the phone which seems to go MIA (missing in action) every time while in the house. I decided to place it inside my purse, in one of those compartments that I even forget its there for obvious reasons; If someone was to take my bag away it would ring (I have it set to ring when the bag goes out of range.) and alert everyone around it.

Other important and neat things about the XY3 is that it is water resistant, its battery is easy to replace, it has a distinctive high volume buzzer, it will make your phone also ring, its KeepNear technology, and it will keep record of its last known location. The XY3 APP can track additional XY3, not just one. I have not done the upgrade of it but I remember that it even offers backing up photos (which anyone can do free by using Google Photos). My XY3 was shipped with a package of 5 extra CR2032 3v lithium batteries.
