For the last few months my husband has been wanting to introduce our toddler son to remote control cars with hopes of eventually introducing him to RC boats. He decided that
the best way would be with a RTR (Ready To Run) remote control. My husband was impressed with the size of the car when it arrived, and has been taking it for a spin before giving it to our son. This car is white with orange
and black accents. The first thing we noticed is that the car was not 4WD as the description reads; It was easy to spot as the front wheels are simply for direction. The car is powered by its back wheels. This discovery did
not seem to be a huge deal for my husband as the intended user is our child who we know will not understand the different or really care.
The car looks pretty neat, and most importantly, runs really nice and smoothly. It can go over different types of terrain without any issues. Its bottom is water resistant, it
has a good seal. The car has a rechargeable battery (it comes with the charger) but the remote control does require four AA batteries that are not included in order to operate. The car can move forward, backwards and to the
sides without any issues; It also runs faster than what I had imagined. The remote has a range of approximately one hundred and fifty feet. The paring of the RC to the car was as simple as moving the wheel on the remote, it
was effortless and quickly paired. Overall, my husband is pretty excited about giving the car to our son. Other than the 4WD discrepancies everything works as we expected. We are no experts on RC cars but it works fine as
a toy, and helps with my husband’s goal of finding a hobby he can share with our son.
