My husband had been mentioning we needed a light on our deck that would be lower to the ground to remind our son, and our guests that there is a step. So when I gave him this
motion activated solar light he quickly installed it. The installation was beyond easy, he placed the two screws provided to hook the lamp to the banister of the deck close to the door, and that was pretty much it. He spent
more time searching for the screwdriver than installing the light. The package also includes a switch key. The light turns on after sunset, and off at sunrise. The best part of it is that it emits a glow when there is no motion,
it is not a harsh bright light that is always on which is exactly what I did not want as our deck is the place where we go to relax at night. It is activated by motion within 10 feet from it, and it goes back to its dim light
after 10 seconds if no other movement is detected. The lamp has proven to be weather resistant as it has been waiting a lot lately, and it has not interfered with it. It has 16 LED lights so don’t be confused by the dim
light, it can also be very bright. It looks great, and has solved our issue of people forgetting or not seeing the step when coming back inside at night.
