After receiving multiple compliments from our friends about our marshmallow roasting sticks, we decided to surprise them with their very own
set. We brought the roasting sticks to a BBQ they invited us over the 4th of July celebrations, and once again it was a big hit with other guests. This set has eight telescopic fork skewers, a small silicone basting brush
and a canvas storage pouch. What we like about these sticks, and everyone else as well, is that each stick has a plastic cap in different colors at the end of the wooden handle which identifies the sticks easily. It reduces
the use of wooden skewers, of germ sharing (These will be a bigger hit in the Fall with all those runny noses!), and if there are any children present it also reduces the “you took mine” issues. That last one can also
be applied to some adults, we all know at least someone like that.
The telescopic skewers extend thirty-two inches which places a bit of a distance between the user and the open fire. It is made out of heat
resistant and FDA approved Stainless Steel. The skewers can be used for a variety of goodies at the grill or at the open fire not necessary only for marshmallows or S’mores. In fact, we use it the most for hot dogs. But
I have to mention that this set of skewers do not have pointy ends which makes it a bit harder to insert if attempting to use it with other foods; That is the only significant difference between this set that we gifted and
ours. Overall, the skewers work as expected, are easy to store, and to clean. Others always have a great reaction to it.
