This is an adorable bath mat which allows alerts parents when the water is too hot for a child. It has a circle at the top of the whales that
will change colors indicating that the water has surpassed 98.6 Fahrenheit (37 degrees Celsius). I find the heat sensitive spot feature to be the best part of this mat. This bath mat will not attach to textured bathtubs or
floors; The bathtub’s floor needs to be clean before installing the mat or it will not stick, it will rise with the water. It has small suction cups in the inside of the border (not right by the border), and one suction
cup in the middle of it. The mat is a bit thick which feels like it would be somewhat comfortable to sit on for a baby or small child. It is not designed to be standing on, or for a child that would walk on the bathtub.
The mat is a 14 by 22 inches. It comes rolled but it flattens out fairly fast. Be aware that it has a very strong smell, and that it will probably
require some airing out for it to dissipate. The design I bought is the whales one, which I find cute. It is eye catching, again, ideal for babies or smaller children. It is recommended by the manufacturer to clean it gently
with bleach every two weeks. It is also supposed to be anti-bacterial. Sadly, after a week of use, I have decided it is not what my toddler needs as he likes to walk while in the bathtub. I recommend reading the suction cup
care that is part of the production description for tips and information on how to maintain the suctions cups, and to be aware of the recommended best way to install the mat on a tub. This mat does not have microfiber as stated
on the description.
