Our toddler loves lollipops; Too much if you ask his mom. We decided it would be a nice surprise if we could make our own lollipops since he
also likes to help around the kitchen when allowed. We decided to try this particular lollipop mold because since it is silicone we knew it could be use also for baking. The mold is about 10.5 inches by 4.5 inches, and can
resist temperatures up to 450 Fahrenheit of heat. We have had some fun already trying it out with the help or our son. We have done gummy pops, muffin pops, chocolate pops and even strawberry milk frozen pops. All have been
good successes, and have made our son happy. The advantage of making our own lollipops is being able to use only ingredients we want, and been able to keep sugar use to a minimum. The mold has twelve non stick spaces with
the canal to place the lollipop sticks. It is lightweight, and can be store easily. This mold can resist heat of freezing temperatures which makes it very versatile. I like that I don’t have to grease it as it is non stick.
It is made with food grade silicone. It is easy to clean, I choose to wash it by hand after every use to prolong its longevity. Be aware that the lollipops or whatever you choose to make will be in the very small side of the
scale; For us the small size works as we don’t want our son having a sugar overload with his creations. Making lollipops with this mold is fun, easy, and a safe (supervised) activity to try with young children.
