Relax & Sleep Essential Oil by AlternaKids

We decided to try aromatherapy because of our toddler, so I came across this essential oil designed for children I had to give it a try. Our son loves the scent of Lavender, and Patchouli which are two of the ingredients of this natural essential oil. The other ingredients are Chamomile, Mandarin, Marjoram, and Geranium; All calming, and relaxing scents that the whole household loves, and benefits from. As part of the bedtime routine we set his essential oil diffuser by adding 3 drops of AlternaKids Relax & Sleep essential oil and the aroma remains in the room even after the diffuser has turned off. The essential oil comes in a 10 ml blue dropper bottle which makes it easy to identify from all our other oils. Our son falls asleep faster, and wakes up energized. The scent has a mellowing effect for everyone in the household. The best part of this blend is that it is 100% natural and made thinking of the health of little ones. We love it, and we would recommend it to others.

My friend had never heard of essential oil diffuser pendants until I mentioned it to her recently. She was surprised, and immediately mentioned she wanted to try one because of her severe allergies. When I received this set of two premium Stainless Steel essential oil diffuser pendants I immediately thought of her. Since I prefer silver color over gold, I gave her the gold one. She was surprised at the simple mechanics of these pendants. Unlike most of my EO diffuser pendants, this one closes up like a locket would, and does not have magnets as closure. Once the pendant opens, you can place one of the 5 felt pads that is provided (in different colors), add a few drops of your favorite oil, close the pendant, and enjoy. Both pendants come with a 24 inches long lobster claw closing chain that matches the color of it. These pendants are beautiful, and elegant; It can be use while in yoga pants or even with a nice cocktail dress. The felt discs keep the essential oils scent for a considerable amount of time, ine pad lasts 6 or more hours, and are washable. My friend has no complaints, she says she loves her pendant necklace; I love mine as well and wouldn’t change anything about it. It is a great gift to any aromatherapy lover.

This Emart 600W Studio Lights set is relatively lightweight, and provides all the essentials materials for a simple but effective set up. The 600W bulbs are compact fluorescent, and emit bright daylight that is pure white. The kit comes with 2 tall light stands (86 inches), 1 smaller stand (32 inches) which is perfect as an accent light, 2 translucent diffuser umbrellas, 2 black/Silver reflector umbrellas, 3 single head lights holder, carrying case for the bulbs, and a bigger carrying case for whole set. It is important to mention that this set cannot be triggered with the camera flash or any cables, and lights do not dim. It is a basic I really like it, and would recommend it as a simple light kit to have access too. It is also perfect for video shooting. Great studio set up for its price; Perfect for beginners.

The adventures that our family is planning to have with this camera are endless. This waterproof action camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels, 1080 pixels per inch, it is high definition (HD) camcorder. It is capable of taking photographs as well as recording video in extreme environments were a regular camera would not be able to do so. It size might be small but it is capabilities are fascinating. The camera has a 2 inch HD display, and as any other in the market digital camera, it allows to review photos and videos right after taking them. It has a 170 degree wide angle lens, and its waterproof features will withstand in 98 feet of water. Again, the possibilities with this camera are simply endless. It detects motion, records on a loop, and gives you full control of exposure, and shutter. It has a rechargeable battery that last up to 90 minutes of continuous use. It also has digital zoom capabilities.

This camera comes with a bundle set. There are multiple attachments that allow the camera to go on helmets, bikes, and cars, just to mention a few. This Seat Saver backseat cover by Navarro is perfect for our family Summer adventures. It is waterproof, and washable! It is very easy to install and also to remove. The seat cover can even be placed in the trunk to be used in specific situations if desired because it can be folded flat. It even covers two headrests, and allows for the seat-belts to be exposed. So it essentially can be place underneath a child’s car seat which I wish we had thought about it before because it would have saved us many headaches as parents of a young child who believes the back seat is his domain. It is one of those items that is better to have available than to wish you did in the middle of a situation that requires it. This cover would be very useful to any active pet lover who likes outdoor activities with their furry friend.

Beware the package has printed multiple times that the seat cover is “suitable only for 2 passengers with seat-belts.” We have an Outlander, and the cover is perfect for it.

This Addition and Subtraction Strip Board by Intellitoyz is a great tool to explain children about numbers, and the addition and subtraction processes. It makes teaching simple, and it gives the children something that they can visualize when they think about these processes. It also allows for fun, and creative ways to teach the basics of math but that depends also on the users; I would recommend think outside the box, and make it fun for the child that way they will want to learn without even knowing they are learning. It is a Montessori teaching tool which means its a hands on learning. This set if made out of wood, so it is a durable toy; It also brings several sheets of stickers which our son loves as encouragement to keep on learning, and experimenting.

In our household we do homeschooling of our four year old. We like to create fun, yet challenging environments that will promote his love for learning. At his age we do not expect him to understand everything perfectly but by introducing this basic math concepts we are providing him with tools that will push him into wanting to learn more. This strip board is easy to understand, and to explain. It does not offer instructions so we recommend some quick research in case more information about the dynamics of the board is needed. All in all, the quality of the board is great; The same quality you would find at a classroom. It provides us with ways to illustrate math to our son, and he loves learning by doing. We would definitely recommend this Addition and Subtraction strip board to other homeschoolers, or to anyone who wants to learn or teach the basics of math.

My husband loves silly tea infusers. I’m convinced he drinks tea just to have an excuse to use use them, and to buy more. This KABOOCHY Sir Tea Infuser is super cute, and brings a lot of laughs every time someone new sees it. Everyone thinks the little guy is simply hilarious. It is about 3.5 inches tall, and it fits the border of any of our cups; The arms slides down the border of the cup, allowing it to hang inside the cup and infuse the hot water. It is made out of food grade silicone; Its pants are soft silicone while the upper body is a harder type. It is easy to clean, we clean it by hand to preserve it but it is dishwasher, top rack, safe.

We do a lot of baking in our house, with a lot of attempting to decor as well. I’m confident in our baking but our decorating skills need some practice. But we do it as a form of bonding, our toddler loves to help with the mixing part of baking, and he loves to be silly with the decorating part. He is at the age that he wants his own tools, no sharing. This pastry bags come in handy as if we have 3 colors, we need 6 bags. We tried the reusable ones but it was just too messy to clean, and quite frankly it took too much time to clean. It also fits all of our random couplings and tips without any issues. This pack comes with 100 disposable pastry bags that are 16 inches. The bags are strong, not cheap thin plastic. These pastry bags meet the FDA standards, and are food grade. It comes with a recipe e-book that is send via e-mail. I particularly love the size of these bags as it requires less time refilling, and when a toddler is your helper time suddenly a delicacy. Another feature of these bags that I really like its that the bag has a texture to it which helps keep a better grab of it. Our baking ends up with face decorating while playing, “who can eat the frosting faster” and the last thing I want to do is have to clean the pastry bags afterwards so these bags are a great time saving asset to our kitchen.

Paws Design Pacifier Clips by Tam & Tchu

These Tam & Tchu pacifier holders come in a nice (and big) reusable zippered bag with their logo. The set of three pacifier leashes looks adorable, it has paws in all three in different colors: white with black paws/red backing, red with black paws/black backing, and blue with white paws/red backing. The clips matched the main color of the front design, and all three have red elastic to attached the pacifiers. I have added this to a bundle gift I’m preparing for a good friend’s baby shower. I love that the clips itself are made out of plastic instead of metal for the babies protection, plus no rush; I also love that the clips are not easy for a young child or baby to open as it needs it has a two step mechanism: lift the clip closest to the leash, and then push forward until the clicks locks open like an alligator mouth. There isn’t any sharpness to the teeth inside the clip. The leash is a bit a longer than other holders; I’m still debating if I like the leash longer as security is my priority.

Overall, I like this set of pacifier holders. It is great for an add on gift for any pregnancy announcement, baby shower, or birth announcement as its bright colors are on the neutral side and every baby with a pacifier needs one of this holders. It is convenient because if you have babies or small children, you have most likely experience the panic of a lost pacifier when it is needed the most. However, I did smell a scent that comes from the ribbon used. I would wash them before using it on a baby just because babies will place anything in their mouth.

This set of three stackable bracelets looks so chic! It has a 7 inches diameter, and all three bands stretch. Because of its stretching it is super easy to place on. The crystals catch the light perfectly making them sparkle. For me the set has an old time look to it, very nostalgic and classic. It comes with a black lace bow that can be removed. I removed it as I believe it looks prettier without it. The stackable bracelets come in a very nice gift box with a small display stand for the bracelet inside. The center piece bracelet is gorgeous and I can see myself wearing it by itself if needed. The companion bracelets are thinner than the center piece but still look nice, and could be wore by themselves as well. I selected the gray set, and I love it; I can combine it with almost anything I wear from dress to simple jeans. I have not found any issues with it, and have only received compliments about it. This set would make a perfect gift, that is if you have the will to let it after you receive it because it is adorable.

Alien 6 in 1 Safety Protection Pads by All Nice

I’m paranoid about safety, and every time I take our toddler to ride his bike, our neighbor joins in with her boy but he never has any protection in case of a fall. I was trying to figure our how to get him some pads without overstepping any boundaries, luckily his birthday is coming up. So, yes, I’m gifting him this set of elbows, knees, and wrist safety pads.

The safety gear comes in a mesh bag for convenient storage. It has two elbow, knee, and wrist padded protectors. Each guard has a hard plastic shell on the outside, padding in the inside (and around the plastic), and Velcro straps with plastic loops. The padding makes it very comfortable to wear. It is very easy to put on, and take off. I might be a bit overprotective but I believe that if I can prevent a child from getting unnecessary hurt why not do it. I like really the quality of protection this complete set offers, and the quality of its craftsmanship as well. Definitely, would recommend it. Better be protected than sorry.

We are homeschooling our four year old, so we are always creating new ways to help him learn. We are current using these alphabet beads to learn the alphabet itself, and the spelling of simple words. It has been a hit! Since there are 700 pieces, we have plenty of beads to work with. The beads are small, 7 x 7 inches, and there are a few that seem even smaller; So there is constant supervision while he “plays” with the letters. The beads are made out of durable plastic; Its colors are white for the whole bead, and different colors for the embedded letters. It can be used to create bracelets but as we have proven it also has alternative uses.

We used twine to place the alphabet in order with letters, and used a different color for vowels which; Then our son places his own beads in alphabetical order. The same method was used for the words he is learning to spell. It is an easy, and portable way to help him learn. It also shows him that anything can be a learning tool.

This travel wallet might remind you of it but it is definitely not your father’s fanny pack. It is slim, lightweight, spacious, and discreet. It can easily be used under a shirt or a coat if needed for privacy or security. The travel wallet belt has two zippered compartments. The front one if a bit smaller but still fits my Samsung Note perfectly, it even has space after placing the phone in. It also provides cable access so that headphones or earbuds can be in use without having to remove the phone from the compartment. That is one of my favorite features of this wallet as it protects the phone without limiting its use or my choices. The bigger compartment is spacious, and has a mesh inside that is divided into two sections; One section works great as a passport holder, while the smaller section could be use to conveniently place money, or credit cards. The bigger compartment also is lined with silvery gray fabric that is RFID blocking. The back of the wallet has a soft cushioned wall which makes it very comfortable to wear. The belt secures at the front left side of the wallet with a plastic slim buckle; It is also adjustable, and comfortable when against the skin. The whole wallet is anti tear, and water resistant. I don’t know if it was intentionally designed that way but I like that the front pocket that hold the phone is a bit translucent because if I receive a call from one of my contacts I can sort of see and recognize the who is calling without having to remove the phone from the pouch by their display photo.

Altogether, this Revere travel pouch was design for traveling as it keeps all the important documents on the traveler itself, it is secure and offers privacy which can be translated to security when traveling. I have not found anything about this travel wallet that I might want to change or improved as I believe that it works perfectly as it is.
