I love buying educational toys for my toddler as he seems to learn concepts faster if he is playing instead of simply listening.
This Intellitoyz wood math puzzle has been perfect for helping him have a better concept of the numbers, and its representation. We knew since before he was born that we wanted to do homeschooling when it came down to his
education, and this toy is perfect for the concept of “learning while having fun” that we have been establishing in our household.
This logarithm board not only teaches match, it also helps with colors and coordination. It is a very versatile toy, and
with some creativity it surely will keep our son entertained while learning for some time to come. He loves puzzles, and this one has proven not to be the exception. He can sit down and play for hours by doing and undoing
the puzzle. The wooden puzzle contains 20 tiles (10 with written numbers, and 10 with the representation of the numbers in dots), 10 stubs that increase in size, 55 plastic discs (11 red, 14 yellow, 14 blue, and 16 green)
and the puzzle board.
Overall, we love this puzzle. Its simple yet it allows us to teach different things in a faster way than our prior methods
of teaching. My son was very receptive to it since the first moment he saw the puzzle. Its sturdy, and simple. Most of its pieces are made out of wood for exception of the colorful discs which colors are bright and engaging.
I would recommend this wooden puzzle to others who have older toddlers, it is definitely not a toy for a child younger than 3 years old because it contain small pieces that are a chocking hazard. Even at 4 years old, our son
is allowed to play with it only under direct supervision as we know that curiosity can be sneaky. The back of the numbers and dots tiles are blank so we are planing on painting it with chalk paint so he can also use the puzzle
to learn to write the numbers. Also, as a bonus it comes with 3 sheets of stickers (numbers, letters, and different smiley faces).
