After buying some makeup brushes sets for my personal use I realized how versatile and important having access to brushes
is when we are dealing with make up. Until then I couldn’t really understand the benefits, or why makeup brushes were needed, I was completely naive to it and saw it as just a trend. But once I used my first set of iLoveCos
makeup brushes I could see the difference in the mirror, and there was no way for me to fight it. I’m still learning, making a lot of mistakes, and learning from those but having a set of brushes that is diverse has been
the key to my learning.
As I was looking around for a sponge I could use wet, I came around this particular set of 20 brushes and 1 blender sponge.
The price is simply right, and I really enjoy the liberty it gives me to play around with my makeup applications as I learn. My urge to learn about makeup is not just out of vanity but also out of necessity to offer my photography
business clients more options that at the end will save me time from post editing. Going back to what I have done with these brushes, the first thing was definitely to remove the brushes from the individual bags to allow each
brush to breathe. Right out of the bag each brush had a strong scent; I believe the smell comes from the brushes getting wrapped quickly after the handles are painted, but my husband thinks it might be the branding of each
brush, lets just say the jury still out regarding the smell but the smell did go away after a night on the bathroom counter without any wrappings.
These makeup brushes work as described, I have not experience any issues while applying my makeup that were not self-generated
by a rookie mistake (I’m still learning which brush is use for a particular application. The look of the brushes is pretty, it looks very professional with all black handles and dipped in black bristles. The wet sponge ended
being a bonus of this set, and it is my favorite tool as it is completely new to me but very useful. For its use, I soak the sponge, squeeze it and began using it minutes later to apply my makeup. It is very easy to clean
by just rinsing it under warm water with a bit of mild soap, and letting it air dry. The sponge itself is made with latex free, and antibacterial material.
Overall, this set is right for its price. It has been a step up from my previous set in terms of learning how to apply liquid
make up on myself. It is a very complete set with pretty much every brush needed for a beginner like myself. I have not experience any shedding, and it has been easy to clean and maintain. I would recommend it to others who
are still learning the ropes of liquid make up but do not want to jump into very expensive brushes that might result unnecessary for their skills (or needs).
Disclosure: I received this item at a deducted price in exchange for my sincere, and impartial assessment. My opinions are
always based on the experiences of me, and my family with the product. I have no relationship with the seller, and there were no promises
